At Emotional Growth we are dedicated to providing neuroaffirming assessments that respect and celebrate the neurological diversity of each individual. Our assessment process is designed with a deep understanding of the unique strengths and challenges associated with neurodivergence, such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and other variations. Our goal is to create a supportive, understanding, and empowering environment for everyone we assess.
• Focus on Strengths: While identifying areas for support, we also highlight and build upon each individual’s unique strengths and abilities.
• Tailor the Experience: We adapt our assessment methods to accommodate the comfort and needs of each person, ensuring a respectful and positive experience.
• Provide Supportive Feedback: Our feedback is designed to empower individuals and families with knowledge and understanding, framing neurodivergence as a natural part of human diversity.
• Recommend Inclusive Strategies: We offer recommendations that not only address challenges but also advocate for accommodations and strategies that leverage individual strengths in both personal and professional settings.
Our team of clinicians is committed to an affirming practice that acknowledges the full range of human neurodiversity. Through our neuroaffirming assessments, we aim to contribute to a world where every individual is valued for their unique contributions and can access the support they need to thrive.
Autism assessments must be conducted by professionals who are specifically trained in the use of gold-standard measures. At Emotional Growth, we provide comprehensive and detailed assessments that help identify developmental difficulties, strengths and weaknesses and support families in selecting the right goals for intervention.
Assessments help understand the individuals’ current presentation and functioning.
We provide families, schools, and the community with the best strategies to support individuals in developing their best possible selves. We provide assessments for autism across the lifespan and follow the National Guidelines for the Assessment and Diagnosis of Autism.
