Psychologist (Personal Leave)

Tania has a PhD in Organisational Psychology with over 12 years’ experience working in the field of psychology. She has broaden her therapeutic work into children, adolescents and families, and trained in short-term non-directed play-therapy.

By adopting a client-centred approach, Tania works collaboratively with clients to develop goals, insights and skills that help them recognize their unique strengths and develop a more compassionate and resilient mindset. Her interventions are driven by evidence-based techniques from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Self-Compassion, and Mindfulness.

Additionally, Tania is interested in developing a holistic picture of the factors that can contribute to an individual’s mental wellbeing. For example, Tania is passionate about understanding how nutrition and gut health can affect an individual’s mental wellbeing. She is also interested in exploring how family dynamics and social norms can affect an individual’s behavior and mental wellbeing. She brings the knowledge of body based oriented therapies inclusive of music, sandplay, art-techniques.

Tania enjoys working with individuals and is interested in facilitating group workshops. She believes that sharing relevant scientific information with her clients in an easy to understand and meaningful way empowers them to create a more meaningful, values-based life.
